I think everything is a knock off of something so why exclude someone for trying to save you a few bucks and make a few themself?

The guy that makes the taller windshield is copying the stocker, except adding a few inches.
The aftermarket shifter, the tires, ect... that is the world we live in, make something better or cheaper.

ham!

Yeah, as long as there are vendors, it means the KLR aftermarket is alive, which is a good thing.

I am glad that I tried to buy my stuff from the "original designers," like EagleMike/Arrowhead and www.Happy-trail.com. I think that it should be a decision that people should make for themselves though.

That map is cool! Everyone should add a Pin to that!

it sure is cool, I think we have found a way of setting up an sos board without even trying. If you click on the name, it gives a way to contact the guy listed on the pin.

i discovered this awhile back when mapping a route to meet some riders at a starbucks. starbucks driving directions will route you away from interstates and onto the most remote backroads you can find.

try it out, it's pretty cool if you like to stay off the freeway. :character00268:

I found another great resource. This site will show you where the active wildfires are in the USA. It might save some dangerous travel and long detours.

BikeCrisis

Ok, I am BikeCrisis and in the same.
Have not biked for years. In 20's did off-road and dual purpose.
Have taken the Team AZ safety courses and have a sportster 1200/1988.
LEarned more of the advances in dual purpose and experiencing the Harley.
Riding is a new world for a 50 yr old and the harley is heavy and fast. Stable but can be "too reactive"
How is a KLR at 55-65 on a freeway? Stable? fragile? slight move and gone?
Need the pros to update the B/Crisis as I re-learn and decide to I stay Harley(I have no tatooooos yet) or do I go dual and KLR.

We live in Scottsdale AZ...8 miles from my office.

Advice please and comments on your early riding days..

Thanks and enjoy your forum.

BikeCrisis(was CarCrisis - now have only 1 collector car-had 3//was GuitarCrisis - have 5 guitars and cannot play well//Was KidCrisis - we have 4 and they are still here and last DogCrisis - have 4 dogs and they replace the kids) Life is a Crisis of good and fun. :>)
