I rode out on the sand. My buddy, skipping rocks, is also a KLR rider, but was chicken to ride through the soft sand to get on the beach.. :lol:

I'd like try riding in sand sometime. Where I live we have to truck in sand. It just don't grow here. Now, if you like red clay.... :roll:

Ahh.. Wet red clay.. More slippery than greased ice, and harder to clean, too.. :lol:

Sand is an acquired taste.. Takes a bit to get used to, but once you're good, you're good.. We rode some very soft sand railroad bed that weekend and it felt like the front tire was flat, but it was always under control.. :D

This one was more of the interior, near Lake Superior..
