Has anyone updated their bikes exhaust from factory. If so what did you do and has it made any difference to your bikes performance? Also what about footpegs, I find the rubber ones slippery when wet. Thanks.

These are the pegs we updated with. Yes they are Suzuki pegs, but are a direct fit and about $10 cheaper than the ones that say made for KLR650. :)

I went with the FMF Q2. It sounds way better that the stock "lawn mower" muffer. There might be one out there that sounds better, time will tell. Since I did the KLX needle and air-box snorkle removal all at the same time, it's hard to tell which made the most difference. What I can say is that it runs stronger than before. It almost seems as fast as the old 600.... the new owner LOVES that thing.
