For the offroader, the skier and anyone with a weak knee, the Cell Knee Protection System from Asterisk offers true, full-coverage knee protection without sacrificing agility. We’ve all had a near miss in the woods with trees, rocks and other obstacles - why not add a little insurance for your knee? Other knee braces mainly offer a bit of padding along with some sort of hard protection, but it’s unlikely they were designed by a company like Asterisk, that also does full-on custom (read, VERY expensive) knee braces for top athletes.

The Asterisk Cell Knee Protection Systems protect all the ligaments within the knee from tearing and separation due to twisting and hyperextension forces that are often encountered when one leaves the seat. There’s also full-time patella protection from a hard, Nylon 5 material that’s designed to disperse the load of impact over a larger area.

What makes the Cell a truly unique knee brace is it’s comfort that’s near as good as a thousand-dollar custom knee brace. The four-group lacing system at the back keeps the brace in position no matter how rough the riding gets. There’s also an adjustable extension limiter that can be set at any range you want up to 40˚ from straight – which is good for those of you with a weak knee. Those of us who’ve had the opportunity to ride with one of these have had nothing but thanks for this system. Plarp here in the shop liked the Asterisk Cell so much that he’s been using it for his skiing and snowboarding antics all winter long.

Call TJ at 866-931-6644 ext 817, tell him you saw it on the KTM forum and he’ll get you a set of these shipped out fast. You can also send email with ASTERISK in the subject line to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and be sure to let us know the circumference of your knee from behind the leg and over the top center of your patella so TJ can get you the correct size for your needs.
