The Who
Wow, the Who sucked, painful to watch. I love ‘em but, I thought Pete was gonna’ break a hip showing his fish belly. Roger was “winded” but somehow pulled off the greatest scream of rock and roll in Wont be Fooled Again. The drummer however absolutely rocked and saved them somewhat…….there is a time to call it quits ya’ know.

The tiny little woman who lives at my house and hands out work and I were actually grimacing at one another through the whole thing.
My daughter asked "How old are those guys?". Gotta agree - there is a time to rest on one's laurels. Tom p.s. Dem Dorito commercials sure are good, though.

I saw them for about two minutes while drinking a beer after wrenching with the gang all day. I was sore. They were sad. But they are rich. And I am poor.

Yeah the stage was about the best I've ever seen at a super bowl half. It was hard to watch, Townsend has no voice left and looks like he is using more pharmaceutical drugs now than recreational ones. Funny we just watched a concert of them from way back when. This was not so good. At least no one vapor locked on the set.

There was a lot of lip syncing imho, the Who WERE great, they ain't no longer....and Townsend is a child molester (look it up!)

There was one positive thing I noticed; Rodger was not wearing any womens clothing. Recently we saw a DVD of an old concert, he was wearing a womans top. No confusing the issue, it was not from the mens department period.
Of course after Pete Townsend's being charged for possession of child porn listening to the song " Behind Sad Eyes" had a whole new meaning. Too bad the Stones are done
