Default Progressive fork springs

I just installed progressive springs and it is a big difference.

The question would be should I do anything else besides the fork brace?

Did you set the sag with the new springs?

I am with Cabrito on this one!

Not sure what "SAG" is but I set the Preload to the directions that came with the springs.

As I ride it in the dirt next time I will see if I want to increase /decrease or leave it at the preload that the directions called out.

I rode it on the street and it feels great!

Sag is fancy??? It's a three letter word. I'll be sure to tell that to my wife. I'm sure it'll make her feel better about gravity. You might have to put me up for a few days after that though.
Sag is the measurement of your suspension drops (sags) with you on the bike. That is adjusted with spring preload. Suspension should sag about 25%.

SK,

I think I am set up pretty good right now.

Last week at MB4 house Craig set my preload on the rear shock and when I got home and put the bike on my lift I adjusted the dampner 1 more turn out.

The bike came new with the rear shock set on 1 preload and the dampner set on 1 turn out......

Now the rear shock is set 5 on preload and 2 turns out on dampner.

Front forks are progressive and set at MFG suggested setting.

I will base the rest of my eval when I get it out in the dirt.

You have a rear or front springs?

I'm down for working on the bikes together. I should have them this week. Let me know when you can do it.

Cabrito,Lockjaw,

I am off work till Monday!

Get your springs or anything else you want to do to your bikes and bring them out to my shop.

We will work on the bikes all day, ride ,beer, bbq or what ever.

Hell we could have a mini tech day out here?

That sounds like a hell of a good idea. Problem is thankgiving is insanity in my wife's family, finishing apt paperwork this weekend...packing. Crazy hectic right now. Any chance we could do this in a few weeks? Even next week?

Gotta go work on the Honda right now.
