Home button on the GPS is great.

Cee Baily tinted wind shield, studibaker skid plate, one inch length added to shifter, highway pegs, steel pegs,Jardine pipe, trunk, bar bag, head light rock gard, gell seat,Michilen T63 rear tire, Drilled 5 3/8 holes in hand gards to let just a bit of air thew,12 volt power outlet, 16 tooth front sprocket, Progressive front springs, studibaker master cylender guard, PVC mod,Doo Hickey, one wheel trailer, night vision ammo cans for side bags my oun tank gards.

Well did pick up a 2001 a few weeks ago. If I'd looked a little closer I might would have passed on it but you don't find em you can ride home for 1k too often. Now just to get it in shape to sell before spring...Al

We can feel your pain. The last two weekends we have Tech Day'd a $1,000 2000 KLR. It is running much better, rides and handles better, discovered a few other needed items, and could probably use another 4-5 hours of tuning with the carburetor being removed and inspected and repaired as necessary. Oh, we could not remove stem nut with a big wrench and hammer.

Keep the faith and be persistant. Its a KLR

Can you post a pic of this 1K bike. Just for comparison purposes. Long story. Makes me look bad.

All in fun, all in fun. Would like to see the pics, though. Oh, and I just read your other post. I don't think DaddyJoe is around any more. Sold his bike and moved on. I think.

Only pic I took before tearing it down to replace the Doo and paint the faded/painted plastic.Did have new K270's and a skidplate ..Al
