On dry pavement what is the max rpm you can run at a dead stop and dump the clutch then give it all gas? I wanna wheely good (not a little pop up)but afraid to flip over backwards if i give it too much gas.

Notthat I'm an expert but, 1. practice on grass/dirt first till you get used to engine thrust to weight of the bike. Just in case you dump it over backwards the grass/dirt is much softer than the road for you and the bike. 2. you don't need to dump the clutch to pop the KLR right up. At least you shouldn't, below is from an idle start.
