Grommet source other than Kawa?

Need some replacement rubber grommets for my side and radiator panels.

Before I go to my Kawasaki dealer and PAY MAX $$$... anyone know of a replacement product I can find or order? Last time I inquired about a small bolt at the dealer, they wanted almost 4 bucks each. Left a bad taste in my mouth, to say the least.

BTW, the "official" Kawa part number for the grommet is 92071. I'd buy a dozen or so to keep in my "spares" kit, if I could find 'em for cheap.

After replacing the grommets twice, I gave up when the plastic push pin broke off. Red zip ties cost about $.10 each. Problem solved.

BikerScout..,

Do you have a matching McMaster-Carr part number? Their catalog is intimidating.

Kawioops...

As far as hardware stores (Ace, etc.), I checked my local ones at lunch today, and found some grooved grommets that are much thicker, they look like they have the correct inner groove diameter, and a slightly smaller hole diameter. I bought a couple, but haven't tried them yet, and figure they'll be tougher to put on because of the thickness. But maybe they'll stay on longer because of that (??) Also, see previous comment that DMZ posted regarding breaking off the plastic push pin... so with smaller hole and thicker grommet, I'll have to be careful about that.

By the way, DMZ, thanks for the suggestion, but I would still like to use the "push-pin" design if I can. Those parts still seem quite sturdy (bike is only 1 year old).

No, I have to use their catalog the old fahsioned way. By measuring the inside diameter hole, outside diameter, inside ring diameter. But you get a whole bag of shhh, for not a lot of cash!

You could always try your local electrical component supply shop. They always have a stock of rubber grommets.
