EMGO Oil Filter Element (Kawasaki KL650 KLR 1987-2003)

Anyone use these filters: EMGO Oil Filter Element (Kawasaki KL650 KLR 1987-2003)? Will there be any issues for a 2006 KLR? Sure is a great price.

Emgo filters work fine. Lots of folks use them. I buy them 6 at a time to save a little on shipping.

More fool stabilizer, please.

I've used Emgo for ever. However I just learned that Amsoil has finally developed an oil filter for the KLR so I'll be switching over.

I use them and they fit perfectly. Not to take away from the other great vendors we have but www.bikebandit.com sells them for $1.98 each. At that price you can stock up on them.

Been using them since my first change at 100 miles, 3 weeks ago (just changed oil again tonight at 3,200 ).

Seem to be doing a great job, have found nothing but a *tiny* bit of fuzz on the magnetic drain plug.

I change the oil in the KLR about every 1500 miles, and have used emgo for the last 27,000 miles.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

What's the name of that little dual sport shop in Moab Utah?
I'm seem to recall they had a pretty darn good deal on the Emgo filters by the case.

I'm guessing nothing's really changed over the years and that these same filters would work fine in my '08 as well.

I have found Emgo's on Ebay in lots of 6 and 12 real cheap for the KLR. Great filter. My local universal M/C shop sells them for about $3.xx

Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

YIKES! Arrowhead wants $3.45 for each filter. That does't sould like much of a deal..... Even if you buy a case of ten, they're still $3.00 each.

I thought they offered a better deal than that.
