Clink, clank, clink

That is the sound of a small piece of metal bouncing around in a tin can. Oh yeah, this is also the sound coming from the left side of my bike. My first thought was the Doo. But I don't think that's it. It was replaced about 1200 miles ago. What else is down there that makes this noise? I'm not that much of a mechanic so be kind.

Did you check to make sure the adjustment bolt on the doo is tight?

Something may have come loose. Take your L/H cover off for a look.

Somebody else did the work for me so I wouldn't know. I'll have to find out what that is and check it. Thanks.

Any news on your noise. I know you said the doo had been replaced. Was this a quality aftermarket or a factory piece?

I haven't had time yet to dig into the thing. My next day off is Sunday. Man, I hope it's nothing. I doubt it's the Doo. I replaced it with one from EagleMike. Maybe the spring wasn't attached right? Who knows? I also have to fix the clutch safety switch this weekend. I did a SS1000 a few weeks back which may have wiggled everything around too much.
