Thumbs up for Bike Bandit

Since they advertise here, thought I would make mention.

Ordered some 858's, front and rear, plus tubes for both.

$85.44 to my door. They are to arrive 6 days after ordered.

For 85 bucks, the tires have to be worth it even if they are worse than stock, but they should be an improvment from what I read.

Anyway, the Bandit worked great for me and the price for the tires was great. Without tubes, it would have been about $68 for both tires.

Now I just need to get them mounted!!!

Purchase some tire levers and mount them yourself. I just mounted a set of Dunlop D607's and they were pretty easy to mount. This was my first try for M/C tires. I've mounted a million bicycle tires and probably more auto tires....the KLR tires were easy, just make sure you lube up the new tire beads and the tubes (w/talc or similar).

I like BikeBandit too. I've been using them for a couple years. They typically beat the price of EVERYONE else. My last order of a D606, a clutch cable, and other fodder was delivered in 4 days.

I use SWMOTO for D606's. They don't charge handling of 11.90 nor shipping on two tires or more. They do charge $65.95 rather than $61.05 per tire. Total is still less... by about $8 per order of two or more tires. I made a note of Bikebandit and will check em out for other things as well however.

I will be mounting them myself. Only other MC tire done was a Trackmaster 761 on my XT350. I learned from a few mistakes. I will do the front first to practice.

The only problem I have with BB is that they ship alot of things through the mail. Now if Arrowhead ships it through the mail "priority" I have it in 24-48 hours 9 out of 10 times.

BB mails it and it take 3 weeks. Go figure.

Everything I ever ordered from Bike Bandit I got that week or the next if it was late in the week. Never over 10 days on anything. And you can save money with Bike Bandit. (on a lot of things.)

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

I should elaborate on BB a bit because the mail isn't their fault. The customer service to track the package was outstanding and they were going to reship a new package to me UPS but the original showed up that very day. So I'm really ranting about the U.S. Mail service.
