2006 KLR with 65000 miles

Was looking at getting a KLR. I posted a thread earlier on another one, that I passed on. I'm having a hard time finding one for what I want to spend. Looking for some help again. Found one for $1500, but it has 65000 miles on it. Bike looks good and clean, no mods all stock looking. I assume it's highway miles, but that's still alot of miles. What do you guys think? Anything I should look for or just pass again?

I've found that price really depends on where you are in the country. I'd compare it to a bunch of other local bike prices and see how it stacks up.

I paid $2000 for a 1995 with 10,000 miles on it in one of the more expensive areas. [Edit] It also came with a couple hundred bucks worth of bags.

Does the bike have a maintenance history? Doohickey changed?

I am in North GA. I can find them all day for $3000, but was wanting to stay under or around $2000. I just can't find one within 150 miles for the price. The bike doesn't seem to smoke and has good power (for what it is).

No maintenance history or knowledge of doohickey.

No noise in the motor, but all I've done is taken it for a couple of miles test drive down the highway.
