Doohickey

Where can I find and upgrade kit for the doohickey. And How much will my local dealer charge to install on average.

Eagle Mike makes and sells them, he is in San Diego, PH #619-261-1281, as for a dealer installing it, I wouldn't go that route. They have MANY tech days close to you and at the tech days there are always people to help you do the DOO.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Wayne if you can wait there is a Folsom Tech Day in April. aztec is the host. The doohickey tools will be there and if you don't get the Balancer Lever in time I will have what you need. I also Eagle bolt kits at a reasonable price.

I remember when my "Friend" dropped mine. My knee hurt for two weeks.
Seriously, once we nail down a date for the tech day in Folsom you should be able to get that doo done.

Soliciting folks with Doohickey tools and experience for Folsom. I did mine and then had it done right a week later (Thanks Larryboy) so I refuse to tell anybody I can keep them on the right track.

The tools will definitely be there, EagleMike will make sure of that. I contacted Larryboy and he siad he would watch for the date. Hopefully we can get TOBJ to show up. I will ask Old Six Fifty. OSF has been very generous with his time and travels from Reno NV. If he does not show that will be understandable. If he does show up, make sure he does not take your KLR home to work on it. He is building a large stable of KLRs Maybe he could meet Tex at your house to return his KLR.
