t-mod

I know someone out there has done the t-mod.Do you still have the measurements for the t and tubing.I'm just being lazy on a rainey day and not wanting to walk down to the barn and tear into it right now.Couldn't find any info on dual star/klr650 for the kit.I'm gonna go to the local auto parts store and pic up the parts as soon as I get measurements.

Thanks
Mike

I have bought several tees, the ones that fit three or four size hoses. There are several ways you can run the hoses, the length will depend on which way you choose. I just bought 10" of it, ( I use it for other thinfs too ) Which size? I don't know I bought 4 different sizes when I bought it. You can never have too much hose around.

I see some people have not read the FAQ http://www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html

Often in heavey rain or water crossings the vent running from the carb to the bottom of the bike gets clogged with water causing a vapor lock killing the motor. The tee mod is just that, a tee put in that line running to the back of the bike to prevent it from stalling out, or studdering.

Use a Y instead of a T. If any thing does get into your high hose it will go down for sure instead of into your carb...Doug

Hey Dougly, good Idea.Getting a few mods together.Kay and I are taking off for about three weeks.Heading North up into labrador.Staying in the mountains as far North as we can on two lane and dirt.Lots of water crossings thru that region
