I saw on ADV Rider, or E-bay where someone was selling a set of brackets to lower the foot pegs. I have not seen any or heard of any other than the ones on ADV or E-Bay.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

JV is the same guy selling the lowering plates on ADVRider (different user name). I think he is out of them.

Are you looking to lower the stock pegs or after market metal pegs.

I had some IMS SS pegs on the bike and they were too tall.
I just installed Moose stainless steel pegs w/ 1/2" back offset and they work very well.

I've still got the stock pegs on it and just need to drop them a little. When I lowered the pegs on my '05 Vstrom they hit the ground in hard turns and scared the crap outta me.

I only bounced the lowered pegs of rocks a couple times while riding on the white rim trail in moab, i dont think you would have any problems in everyday riding.

Cool, thanks. I corner pretty darn hard in the hills and have touched a boot down a time or two, that's why I asked.

OK, as you might know already I've finally gotten around to getting my brackets machined.

These are superior to lowering plates, because they do not drop anything below the frame of the bike. I know of at least 3 people that have complained that they have hit something with their plates. And it only takes one indirect hit to tear out your entire footpeg mounting structure. Also, you have 4 bolts to contend with instead of just two when you use the plates.
