For Sale: Spark Plug Cap Grommet

After my trip last weekend in which I had another flat (previous tube lasted all of 600 miles), I ordered a replacement, and some other stuff.

One of the things I ordered was "GROMMET,HIGH TENSION" (21131 at http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmot...49932#sch70833 ) which is the rubber cover that goes over the spark plug cap/spark plug wire connection. My 1995 part was falling to pieces, so I figured I'd replace it for $5.

In my tiredness after getting home, however, I ordered two. Because just for a moment I thought I had a twin-cylinder, I think is the explanation that makes the most sense.

So I have one extra. I'll trade it for a pint at the pub, or paypal, or I'll just give it to someone for free if they ask nicely.

I'm in Berkeley, CA, but I can probably ship it anywhere in the US for a buck or so.

(It just shipped, so it won't be here for a couple days.)

beejjorgensen,
You better keep your spare rubber cap. IT is probably "Made in Thailand" now!
And anybody who owns an '08 and Newer can attest to the durability of the small rubber parts "Made in Thailand"!

I suppose I'm going to, anyway, as there aren't a lot of takers.

I don't need the cap, but if your are offering a pint at a pub to take it I am all in. I never turn down a pint. Being in Oregon I am spoiled with the Micro brew selection ,so it has to be good! I would own a lot more stuff if everybody offered a pint to take it off their hands!

I am about 30 miles SW of Portland in the heart of the wine country. 50 miles from the beach and 70 miles from skiing. We live at foothills for the coast range. Tons of trails and back roads. I can basically ride gravel and trails to the coast and never hit pavement. Great place to live.
