Doyle's Motorsports Tech Day

Well the day started in the metropolis of Scottsville, KY like any other this time of year HOT & HUMID. Doyle AKA klrdoyle, Brandon AKA buddy2224, Jon AKA iyaoyas98, Toby, AKA tobmonster, myself, and the new guy Matt, AKA threadkiller were to meet up at Doyle's Motorsports to do a little work. When I walked in around 10:00AM Doyle, and Toby were busy wrenching on Toby's future ride a 2 wheel drive S-10 Blazer sporting a 350 cu. in. engine.

There was LOTS of work to be done, Jon needed a new plug, new shoes, saftey by passes clutch, and kick stand. Brandon wanted to clean his air filter, and put on the new BIG front rotor. Matt was to do the sub-frame bolt upgrade, and a new doo. All I wanted was to bleed my brakes some to see if gain some lever, and pedal. Doyle was there to do all the work we could get him to do, and Toby just to laugh at us old folks.

Matt working on the sub-frame, man that's some hard drillng.

Finished product.

Brandon showing off his new BIG rotor.

Jon says, NO IT'S MINE!!!

Brandon's ride before, and after.

Finished product. SWEET!!

Jon's pile of new shoes (606s) just waiting to go on.

Jon starting the spoons.

Here's what Jon was replacing another 606 that Jon had dogged.

Doyle just HAD to help.

Jon putting in the new plug.

On goes the new rear shoe.

Jon spooin' the front.

Jon thinking this might be where you tighten up the chain, but I'm not sure.

Kermit sporting his new wears.

Brandon says "I know there's a filter in here somewhere".

More to come:

Matt gets busy working on the Doo.

Am I there yet?

Doyle wants to see what's in there.

A face only his Momma could love!

Let's see what happens when we do this.

Jon wanted to show us he has been working out.

Doo looks good, and believe it, or not so did the spring. It's a 2004 model with only 2300 miles on it.

Brandon gives Matt some moral support. He's our local Doo King.

Got to be getting close.

Just a few more then:

FINALLY!!!

NO Doo is done without a plug for Eagle Mike, cause he is the "doo man".

Toby kicks back, and just laughs at the "Old Folks".

Here is a shot of all the bikes today, Doyle's '99, Jon's '06, Brandon's '05, Matt's '04, and my '04. Toby's Super Sherpa (which is for sale by the way) was at the house in the garage taking a break.

And last, but certainly not least, the man without his shop none of this could have been possible. The King, the Owner, and the Proprietor, the One, and Only Doyle. Check out the SHAMELESS PLUG. Oh yea, and Jon acting normal.

I hope you folks enjoyed seeing our day half as much as we enjoyed being there. If you are ever in this area we can show you some pretty nice spots that Brandon has found for us. Drop by, and let's ride.

Nice pictures... Looked like your tech day was a success.

If I am in need of a garage and I am in KY I will call Doyles garage.
