Petcock

Hi, anyone know where you can obtain the Yam Raptor 660 petcock in Europe? Would be interested in installing this, note there is 1 Chinese made version on EBay for £5, but would prefer genuine Yamaha part. Cheers.

I am not sure how things are done over there but I got mine from a yam dealer.

lol, was going to say the same thing

they should be able to get you one, just remember that petcock drastically reduces your reserve so if you're not already used to watching your ODO, you should start.

Thanks lads, no Yam dealer nearby, was looking for more of a link, especially for within Europe. Got one on EBay cheers.

If you simply want to rid yourself of a vacuum dependent petcock look here.....

I did a variant of this to mine early on.

The only caveat of this is you must turn to "off" the petcock upon shutting down or risk a leaky float valve filling the crankcase with gasoline.

Gray-haired riders donít get that way from pure luck.
