Post Aftermarket exhaust and main jet change

Looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my KLR 650. Any thoughts about good, bad or any experiences. Also presently have K&N with stock airbox. Will I need to change out my main jet and if so any experienes?

I am going with the Jardine from KLR650.com. You get the exhaust, Air filter, and jet kit altogether for $298.95. Orders over $100 get free shipping. I am sure others have favorites they like. I have had good luck with Jardine on quads.

I really like my White Brothers E2, with the quite core spark arrest installed. What sold me on this system was the ability to run the muffler with or without the quite core. To me it is far too loud without it for road use.

Have a Staintune on mine, did the shim & screw mod but still have the original main jet. The ST has the removeable core also, it was out for one ride only.

Have you installed it yet, and if so, how loud is it over stock?

No I haven't bought one yet, it will probably be a winter project.

Too bad. I like how the stock exhaust allows me to ride in "stealth mode" if I'm riding where I'm not supposed to, and it would be great to find an aftermarket pipe that would add power without losing the stealthiness.

I wish HMF made a pipe for the KLR's. We used those on our Honda foremans with great results. Best part is they had a baffle you could remove or leave in for sound, but didn't effect the spark arrester. They have an awesome deep bass sound at idle and when hard on the throttle.
