Fuel petcock problem

Took the tank off the 07 and the elbow on the end of the fuel line pulled out of the fuel shutoff valve. Must have been pressed in. Can I fix it or do I have to replace it? Thanks

Press it back in.

As motor vehicle dealerships sometimes say, "That's normal!"

Some use a zip-tie for insurance.

It is a press fit. Install at desired angle and a slight tap with a hammer sets it.
