2006 grey color code for frame

Hey guys I have had my 2006 green KLR 650 for 2 weeks 400 miles and I noticed that the tube in the battery is cracked and leaked battery acid on the frame eating the paint. Now the bike is cherry and I would like to touch it up. Does anyone know where I can get a spray can that will match the gray on the 2006 frame? If you do please let me know. So far it is the only flaw or blemish on the bike.

Did you just buy the bike from a dealer? That is a warranty issue and I'd have the dealer involved..

I know it's a simple fix, but it's an initial quality issue and the dealer should be forced to address it on a brand new bike.

As far as the color code, I don't know, but the dealer should, and while you're talking to him about the code, make him fix the paint.

Found this on KLR650 FAQ http://www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html#body

Is there a paint that matches the silver on the frame?
Dupli-Color #WP101 Silver high-performance wheel paint (formerly known as Steel ) is a good match, although it may be a bit more glittery than the stock paint. KRYLON #1402 Hi-Temp Aluminum also matches, if you want to paint your exhaust or heat shield.

Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.
