Follow this step by step and you'll be fine. Just give yourself enough time.

I'm thinking of going on a trip but can't decide where. Missoula would be a good starting point to head to the Lolo Pass.

If it's any encouragement, I just did mine this past week following the marknet instructions. Started out with trepidation but followed step by step and was suddenly done and couldn't believe how easy it had been. Getting ready for a trip and glad I did it for the peace of mind, but on my 06 with 7,500 miles both the doo and the spring looked new.

A old mechanic I worked with always said: "New doesn't mean good."

I'm hitting the road today. Will be in Idaho for the first week before making our way home. No route planned but if I am in Missoula I'll drop you a PM.

Just saw this post, late notice, but having a little bit of a tech day down in Stevensville Tuesday. A couple of locals will be getting some electrical upgrade and a fork oil replacement. I have the tools and have done a couple.

KLR4ever, if you need some route hints in these parts don't hesitate to ask. Camped 10 miles south of Lochsa Lodge Sat night. Snow still keeping the really good roads closed up high.
