Welcome Dozzer!!
I moved your post over here to the Wrenching and Mods in order to get you more replies..

Anyway, I've seen a few fork mounted headlights on KLR's. You'll more than likely lose the fairing when you do this, but I suppose there's ways to modify it to run off the forks with that, too.

It wasn't all that long ago I saw someone post a dual headlight kit that mounted on the forks. That would give you more light and movement with the forks also?

Or, you might want to mount driving lights on your forks and leave the headlight as is?? Whatever you do, please show us the final product and how it works!!

Here is a link for a thread that shows step by step procedure to adding a set of lights that will turn with the forks. I am planning on doing this also.

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.
