Carb screw kit

Greetings. Me and my new to me bone stock 2004 KLR are new to the forum. I am planning on jetting the carb and was wondering where to buy a kit to replace the cheap small screws on the external body of the carb with allen bolts? I have seen it mentioned here, but I have seen no mention on where to get the replacements. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

When I bought my KLX needle and jet kit from Eagle Mike last year, he threw a set of carb screws into the box.

Most cities have a good fasteners supply outlet or more than one. I can buy good quality fasteners just a few blocks from here although the retail trade don't seem to know about these people. Ask some of your automotive contacts as they may be aware of a local supplier. Nice to know for those, "Oh rats!" moments. :-) I'm jealous of some of the hardware stores found in "The States."

You may wish to avoid stainless as they are not as strong as the better grades of steel and have a material incompatibility with aluminum. Most are soft as butter and the top grade are only Grade 5/Metric 8.8 equivalent.
