Suspension questions

Two suspension questions for an 07 KLR.

1. In stock trim, how far do the top of the fork tubes (not including the caps) extend above the top triple clamp?

2. From center to center how long are the stock rear suspension links?

The front tubes should be flush with the triple tree, sometimes the dealer forgets to adjust those from shipping. They could be as much as three inches above the triple tree. I am not sure on the rear links, I have shorter links raising mine an inch over stock.

Raising links are actually shorter and lowering links are longer..

EagleMike knows what that distance is. or just buy some from him.

Thanks for teh info on the forks.

I picked up my KLR this past week. The fork tubes are sticking up about 2 inches above the triple clamps. I was trying to figure out if someone had lowered the bike. Therefore the questions about the fork tubes and the links.
If anyone knows the length of the stock rear suspension links it'll enable me to figure out if it's been lowered or not. Thanks.

The stock links look like stock links, casted aluminum.
Any of the Eaglelinks look like machined. probably in black too.

What do your look like?

these are eaglemikes

Mine look like cast aluminum, so perhaps they're stock.

They're pretty close to about 5" from center to center on the bolt holes.

If someone could check this length against theirs I'd sure appreciate it.
