Jardine Exhaust Improvement

Well I am loving my exhaust and the improvement it has given my bike, but the quiet insert was robbing it of some extra mid and top range power. So I removed the insert and ran it for a couple of days open, and I loved the power, and to be honest the noise level was not all that bad once you were cruising at speed. But like we always do, we're sitting around trying to think up of something to modify and looked at my buddies poor neglected Goldwing sitting in the corner, when he remembered he had a couple of the original exhaust tips put away that would never be used again. So we got out the cut off saw and cut away the insert, leaving enough of a shoulder that it would slide perfectly into the exhaust opening of the jardine. We were able to drill a retaining hole and use a screw to hold the down tip in place. This lil mod actually quietened down the pipe, due to the sound being forced downwards to the ground, but left the pipe open for more effecient exhaust flow instead of trying to be forced thru the holes in the quiet module. Plus I just like the way it looks too. So yeah my Kawasaki has a lil bit of Honda mixed in to make it better.
I thought Paper might get a kick out of this. LOL

To late for that! It actually looks better than one would think. Way to think outside the box.
