maier guards

Do I need new forward controls or can I just move the others around ? The right hand grip looks to be very tight. The clutch and brake lever seems very close in my mock up. thanks!
Igot my goodies and need to keep on pace with the install

I'm not really understanding your problem. Is your levers touching the guard? Can you post some pics. I fiddled around with some barkbusters and some answer handguards and they were too tight. I finally broke down and bought the ones that KLRFAQ advised to get. Maier woods pro.

Yes, That is what I have. I just need to mock them up. They will have to wait until later. It's been a long day! Thanks for your response!

You will still have to angle your levers down a little to clear the ball ends.

I bought the Maeier Brush guards as well. What was the trick to get them right?
