replacement footpegs

I found real fast that the stock pegs have to go. It doesn't take much to get real slippery. What pegs are you guys usin? Are there pegs out there that won't break the bank that work well?

thanks

Here you go: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUZUK...spagenameZWDVW

We ordered these late last year and love them..They are big and wide and the teeth aren't sharp enuff to tear up your boots, but won't let your wet feet slip. If you order the ones from this company that specifically says for KLR you will pay almost an extra $10 for the exact same peg. Buy some and enjoy.

Thanks for the help and the link. These pegs fit the original pins right? Just remove the c clip and swap them out? No drilling or changin pins for bolts?

If so I will order them tonight.

Just got back from the bike shop. They want about 80 bucks for pegs

Yes, they are a drop in fit. The powder coating might make them tight to fit to begin with, but they fit perfectly. Several others here have ordered them too and love them.

Got the pegs today. Wow great stuff. Funny slipped of the stock ones again this morning and lost a bit or relig in the process. Got home and the pegs were there. Three days from Cal to E cost. That was a lot faster than I thought. Anyway they are on and seem to be the ticket. Haven't ridden with them yet but I'm sure I won't slip off of these.

Thanks for the help with the pegs. Now how about the rear pegs? Don't need them yet but.......

Not sure about replacements for the rears, mine don't get used. But am glad you got the new ones in already. Mine came in handy today. We did a 100 mile ride and got rained on that last couple hours, was nice having a good solid peg with grip to keep my boots from slipping off when standing or getting off the bike.

Well truth be told mine won't get used much either and certainly not in the wet. I only wanted them for my wife and she rides once in a very blue moon. LOL.
