handlebars not straight

when i'm rideing the handlebars are pointed off center to the right
can this be fixed by loosening the front end (3 nuts by risers and the fork brace) and turning handlbars to left while holding tire at center
or ???
tried search didnt find what i was looking for
thanks

Yeah had to do my buddies 05 the same way. Kinda like when we all tweaked our bicycle handlebars years ago jumping creeks and wrecking LOL. Not sure about which 3 nuts your referring too, but we just loosened the upper and lower fork clamps and then tweaked the bars. don't loosen enough for forks to slide thru the clamps but just enough to allow the extra force to straighten everything.

Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

Yep.. Just loosen up the pinch bolts on your fork tubes, while the bike's weight is supported (stick it on a 5 gallon bucket), and run your handlebars left and right a couple times, to the stops. It'll center itself in the clamps, and then tighten the clamps down. (please use a torque wrench for these)..
