doohickey

ok guys. The doohickey came in the mail today. I am nervous to begin the work...I am afraid if I screw it up, that I won't be able to ride the bike. I am not a mechanic, but I do know how to follow directions, for the most part. I trailered the bike 800 miles up here so I could do some riding at the Jersey shore, and because I have a garage here to perform the upgrade. I just don't want to screw myself and not be able to ride the bike because I started a project that I can't finish. Know what I mean?

If you're that concerned, just ride the bike first then do the work. If it's working now, it'll probably continue to do so until and unless you try to adjust it. At least that's my understanding of the situation.

Correct, just don't adjust the current doo, leave it alone and you will be fine till you get back to where there is some help.

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

rock on guys. that is what I wanted to do, but it was sitting here in the box, and it was driving me nuts trying to decide whether or not to do the job or not.
