Need Cly head for 1996 KLR

I did a bad thing and broke my 1996 KLR and I now need a cly head. I have found a 1991 and would like to know if it will mate up?

96 through 08 are interchangeable. The 08 would have smog fitting to plug off.

Isn't the only difference on the 95 and back the sound dampener sheet metal thing? Hmmm..I forget.
