How do you remove the headlight on a Gen 1

Title says all, how exactly do I remove the headlight on a Gen 1 so I can replace it?

Most people need to remove the 2, 10mm headed bolts from the Turn Signal brackets, then dis-connect the signal wires, then remove the 3 Phillips Head Screws from the fairing to remove the fairing, to see what they are doing.

Then un-plug the wire connector and pull the water bonnet off.

With skinny hands and 30 years of practice, I can do it with the fairing Installed.

Modify at "YOUR OWN RISK"!

Still riding my 1987 KL650-A1. 85,000+ miles & counting
