drop-in LED replacement for stock fairing

howdy..

Looking for an ideal drop-in LED headlamp replacement for an 89 w stock fairing.

Recommendations?

have searched around a bit and not seeing anything that is GO-TO for this bike.

motophoto did one on his Gen1. I don't know how plug 'n play it was.

H4 or H7 bulbs?
i see links to buy both, but the pdf only mentions H7... what are the H4 for?

H7 base style fits Gen 2 bikes. H4 base fits the Gen 1 or 1987-2007 that the OP was inquiring about.

Good options here.

Lots of variety out there these days.. Not sure if I want the H4 replacements or a full drop-in assembly.. cheap is good, reliable is better.

When I do settle on something, I'll re-post here.
