2nd gen rear wheel

Hey guys. Another quick question for you. Is it confirmed, or has anyone successfully installed a 2nd gen rear wheel on a 1st gen? I am talking 2010-up model years. Thanks!

Wheel should bolt right on. Brake rotor will need to be swapped for the gen 1 rotor.

Thanks for the response. I am hoping so. Ill have the rear rotor readily available. The only thing I am worried about is part #'s are different on the parts fiche. The only one that correlates to one another is the sprocket hub and appears the bearings and a few flanges. But the actual hub and axle are different #'s. Guess all I can do is try!

Gen 2 spokes are larger diameter, so of course they will have a different part number. Also some years of Gen 2 have black rims, another part number.

The spokes being bigger is fine. I am going to order the 19" front wheel kit from DualSportArmory in black and want a black rear to match. Thats why I was looking at the 2nd gen. rear wheels that come in black.
