Ignition housing unfastened. How to secure?

Aloha!

The entire piece where the key goes in has fallen off whatever was securing it, and it now just jingles under the handlebar. Thankfully the circular cutout in the handlebar prevents the whole thing from bouncing around everywhere. The key still turns, bike still works, however my key is no longer locked-in when in the ON position. My safety is due in January and I'm guessing I'd want this fixed by then.

Any idea what size bolts are required to put this guy back in it's place? Thanks!

Have you checked out the exploded parts diagrams available from Kawasaki and vendors (e.g., BikeBandit) on the Internet? These "fiches" and accompanying parts lists can answer similar questions.

You can click on the Kawasaki website; visit the, "Owner Information," and "View Parts Diagrams" sections, to access this information.
