Cool Pump?

I was wondering if anybody has tried a Boysen Water Pump yet?
They have been around for a long time making reed valves for two strokes.
They always have had quality products.
I live now in the Philippines and would like to get my KLR to run a little cooler.
It is very hot and humid here and my fan comes on a little over half way hot.
Is this normal for this bike? Seems a little early to me.

Adjusting the idle mixture screw at the bottom to 2-2.5 turns out can make a big difference in operating temp. Here is a great mod written by the Patman that helps as well.,939.0.html
