Give me your opinion of this carb-mod kit.

I'm thinking about buying this kit: https://www.amazon.com/1987-2007-Kaw.../dp/B006QZET6O

Have any of you bought it? What did you think of the results?

I've already done the mod on my carb that involves drilling a hole in it (can't remember the name of that mod). Do you think something like this kit is necessary to make sure I'm not running too lean and damaging the engine?

I can't even read that box, but a carb isn't a place you want cheap chinese crap PLUS the jetting is wrong on most of these kits. get the KLX kit from Eaglemike and do it right.

BTW, drilling the slide affects throttle response but has nothing to do with jetting. Beware that many kits say to drill 1/8" but that is too big and has caused bogging issues for some.....7/64ths is safe. Personally, I didn't bother drilling the slide when I did my KLX jet kit

I went with JD Jetting and air box modification, upgraded exhaust also. Made a noticable improvement

JD (Unlike DJ - Dynojet) has a good kit that works well.
