All aftermarket silencers will exhibit more deceleration afterfire or popping. But one should check to be sure you haven't loosened or worse lost one or both header nuts. This allows outside air into the exhaust, which causes the trailing throttle mixture to ignite in the header, Pop, pop, Pop!
Loose or lost header nut will allow the copper header gasket to burn out. I'll suggest you purchase one, they are 1 time use item. Anti-seize grease on the threads & 15 ft lbs torque Maximum.
Your jetting should be perfectly fine.
