headlight bulb replacement

Just noticed the low beam on my 07 is out. Should I replace it with stock or is there a better choice. The wireing is stock and I want to keep it that way for now.

Any trick to gettin the old bulb out?

thanks

Just remove the rubber boot, unplug the wiring harness from the bulb, and unclip the wire retainer holding the bulb in place. The bulb is a standard H-4 bulb so you can spend as little as $10 or $40+ for something extravagant.

hdlite replacement

more watts is good stuff, mainly on the high beam.
I know, move the stock high beam bulb to the low beam side and get yourself a hundred watter for the hi beam.
You can get higher watt bulbs for the same or only slightly more than the 55/60w stockers. usually $10 to $20 at most auto parts places and or bike shops

Well I thought it was the bulb but now it looks like I have a problem with the low beam circuit. Not able to check of voltage to the low beam yet but it doesn't look good.

Anyway if I decide to get a brighter bulb what is the recommended wattage both low and high beam?

thanks for the help
