Vibration Madness

I have a 2006 KLR with 6000 miles and I've developed a high frequency vibration that can be felt in the footpegs and handlebars. Seems to be abnormal to me. I replaced the "doo-hickey" in hopes that it was bad and it needed to be done anyway but it was no help. I took the bike to 80 mph yesterday, released the throttle and pulled in the clutch - all of the vibration goes away. I guess that means the vibs are coming from the engine. With the throttle pulled I can give the eng some gas and the vibration comes back. I've checked the engine mount bolts and looked for any obvious loose items on the engine. No luck - anymore ideas?????? Thanks
