KLX Needle Info

Cleaning out the carb and wanting to make sure what needle I actually have. Eagle Mike or Dyno jet. Are there others.? 5 grove no shouldered step below the groves just smooth down to the point.

Should or could be some tiny little characters below the grooves to identify.

KLX needle # N1TB. Should have a thick brass shim ABOVE the e-clip when properly installed, to prevent too much vertical float of the needle.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it out. Its a Dyno Jet. I found a couple of articles that referenced the five groves. From there read some posts and set it up with a 142 Jet and one shim. I left a message with Eagle Mike and he returned my call nice guy a helpful.

So you have a short stack of shims on top of the e-clip to limit vertical movement of the needle, correct?

Yes I actually picked up some washers at the bolt store. Nice and tight. Have not had a chance to get some highway time on it but around the block feels good throttle response is crisp. Thanks for the input.
