So mounted my front tire today. Check rim heavy was at the stem. Put red dot at the stem. 1.75 ozs of lead later I'm like wait a dang minute. Last owner had way too weight on as well. So I read around and find some who have found the mark to be the heavy side of the tire. Break the tire down again spin the dot to opposite the stem. Balanced perfect with only .25 ounces. Just some info for my KLR loving friends. Question is now do I trust the dot on the back tire.

Put it on the balancer before you seat the beads.

Thought about that didnt know if it would flop around too much to be accurate.
