Why does it keep doing this?

Hey all I keep beating myself up on this one. My 07' starts runs great then starts to crap out. Meaning she act like shes running out of gas but of course I am not. I have checked and I have fuel and spark. What is real weird is it will start after a bit run great then same problem re-occurs. For the love of God please help me with ideas. CDI will be my next check, or should I check the coil first? I will send beer to the person with an answer for this one.

Check the vacuum lines to see if they are colapsing while it's hot.

you might also check the carb vent hose, if it gets pluged

When you say vacuum line i imagine you mean vacuum lines to the carb as well as shut off valve. My only problem is I pull the lines when the problem occurs and fuel is flowing freely. I will check that and my carb vent hose. Thank you all I appreciate any help.

Is the gas cap venting? Try riding with it open (the cap). Sounds like a problem I had with my Honda.

Sounds like a fueling problem to me. "What is real weird is it will start after a bit run great then same problem re-occurs." How long? Seconds, minutes, hours?. Is this bike ridden regulary? How long did it set before you got it? What I'm getting at is bad gas, clogging up the carb. Seems that the fuel bowl is running out, possibly. Could be the vacuum assist fuel petcock has a problem delivering fuel to the carb.

Fuel is not the case I ride the bike on a close to daily basis, sometimes it runs for days no problem but with the weather finally warming up it seems to be doing it more often. This may have nothing to do with the problem pehaps the component is just wearing out. I wish it would freakin break so I could fix it. And just to put the question to rest this is not my first rodeo. That is why I am here this one has got me stumped.

Your bike is pretty new, so this may not apply, but I had similar symptoms with my '99 and replacing the gas cap solved the problem. Crud had plugged the internals of the cap and would cause fuel starvation at highway speeds.
