Question looking for manual choke plunger 2006

Hello, first post....hope it's ok...
I'm searching for the manual choke plunger set up that gets rid of the handle bar choke cable assembly that will fit a 2006 KLR.

I think I read a 1996 KLX250 set up will work....can anyone verify this to be correct?

Then if so, where's the best place to find this item which I bet is like chicken lips...lol

there's cheaper ones on ebay but I prefer higher quality parts on my bikes and everything I've gotten from Stead seems to be top notch

Thanks for the kawi number, they'll have one in a week or so.....cheaper than flea-bay if you add into their shipping costs etc etc.

Thanks again guys.

You can extend the push/pull knob out about four inches to make it easier to reach while sitting on the bike.

Remove the original knob.
Ziptie a piece of 1/4" flexible tube to the push/pull rod. I like Tygon fuel line from auto parts stores.
Put a piece of 5mm all thread rod in the line to stiffen it.
Make a new knob with some 5mm nuts and a washer.
Leave about 1/2" of the flexible tube next to the original rod open for flexibility so you can rotate the carb to work on it.
rebar and OUCH like this.
