Extra Parts... AS ALWAYS!

Nearing the end of my KLR Exploded Diagram and end up with a few extra parts that are a mystery to me maaaaan!

First one, below... a little black plastic piece:

I thiiiiink it fell outta the Front Fairing when I was doing things up there (adding wiring for fogs, charger, extra outlet, switches as well as DashTurnDiode and cleaning up the odometer function. It looks like something one might find on something like an odometer actually... a sort of 'tab/button' to advance the number wheels? But it's not from the odo. I can't decide WHAT the heck it is! I almost thought it a spent zip tie at first glance.

Second is below...

I think 'they' showed up after I was messing with any of the FrontFairing, the Coolant OF tank, and the Radiator itself. I don't know if they are sleeves/collars for the Shrouds that I pulled off weeks (months) prior, or something related to the Radiator area. And yes, there were 2, so I'm thinking this is NOT an aberration (like perhaps the above is).

Thanks for your EagleEyes folks... I don't got NO CLUE where these came from!!!

Any chance the second items came from the cylinder head? They look like they could be the little guides that align the camshaft journal caps. There are two per journal cap (8 total). They tend to fall out easily, and can go unnoticed, when removing the camshafts.

Thanks, but no... I haven't cracked the case yet (just aesthetic and safety items with a coupla adds for now). However,
that will come next (DooHickey), along with valves, so I'll keep an eye out for those things then! Thx.

KLRCraig, The little plastic piece is missing its brass contact & spring. It is the clutch lever safety switch Contact. Which you have probably defeated already.

The spacer collars are still a mystery.

Thx PDWestman! That sounds familiar now! And I 'remember' the image of it when I took it apart (at the lever)... YOU DA' MAN!
