found this while changing that!

help me identify part plz.

so i was changing the "spring" that doesnt look like a spring more like a horseshoe (maybe not much like a horseshoe either) it pushes the clutch back up. anyway got it replaced after 5 weeks of waiting for the part.

I obviously dont have the technical words to describe so plz be patient.

right side of the bike, around the oil filter... that big housing! that holds the clutch mechanism under it. so i changed the oil filter, the metal strainer, checked on everything else.

anyway, replaced the thang i needed to replace to get the beast back.

I just realigned everything on the big housing, about to put the first screw back in (whats the torque on this btw?) i looked on the ground and i found this little guy. cant upload photo , heres a description, its a spring, but its a circle. looks like a spacer. but its a very thin spring material. it is small. i can fit it around the tip of my pinky, reached the tip of the nail but wontgo any further! ps: i have big hands!

I am just wondering where it could have come from! any help would be appreciated. wouldnt wanna put all those bolts back in before finding out. then again id love to ride my sweet baby!
