Persistent Valve Noise

Hello All,

My bike has slowly developed what I believe is "valve rattle" since I got it roughly 500 miles ago. I assumed that this rattle was the product of valve clearances being out of spec. I inspected them and found the intake valves to be at the tight end of spec, and the exhaust valves were in fact roughly 0.05mm beyond the tight end of spec. I purchased the appropriate shims and did the valve adjustment. Very straight forward, no problems. However, the "valve rattle" is still there, and may even be worse now. There is now also a noise that sounds like a 'lifter tick' on top of the previous rattle that was there.

In doing some forum searches, I believe that I have addressed the usual suspects. The valves are in spec, the cams are properly timed, all bolts are properly torqued, and the bike has an upgraded Eagle Mike Doo that I recently adjusted (after the rattle started). The bike does need a new drive chain and sprockets (on the way from Rocky Mountain ATV), but that can't be the issue as the bike makes the sound in neutral while parked. I also replaced the air filter at the time of the valve shim adjustment. Not that that would cause a rattle/tick, but I'm just throwing all of the info out there.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I will try to get some video/audio of the noise tonight. For what it's worth, the bike rides great. Took her out for a 5 mile spin today and everything felt great.

Here is a link to a video I took. The noise is not as pronounced in the video. See if you can hear anything problematic. I may just be over-paranoid.

What little I could make out from the video sounds similar to what mine was doing.
