Fuel leak at start-up
Hey guys, I tried searching the forums for this problem, but I couldn't find an issue that was similar to what I'm having.
So just recently I have noted fuel leaking from the carb when I start up my Gen 1 KLR650. I will open up the choke, start up the bike and in a few seconds it will die like it's flooding out. I close the choke and restart it and then the fuel leaks out from somewhere around the carb, I haven't been able to see exactly where it's coming from because it only lasts a coupe seconds, and it's not every time. After I get it running, it runs fine with no further leaks while I'm riding.
I am considering removing and rebuilding the carb and the petcock valve, but I wanted to get some more opinions here in case I am missing something.
Thanks in advance.
