Were there no other symptoms before?

What's the history like this this bike?

How long since it was last ridden?

Any smoke or horrible mechanical noise?

How old is the gas?

Ok i just got the bike the day before i rode it 10 min to walmart shut off then came back started it and rode it the rest of the way home about 45 min. Parked it when to be got up to go to work added a little radator fluid. Started it it did smoke but that was just a little radiator fluid that i missed. I did just put new gas in it. But what has me stumped if it has spark and i spray ether streight into engion it should at least try to start. Can it havespart wile plug is pulled then not when inthe engion?

Did someone turn the fuel valve OFF while you were in the store?
Have you disconnected the fuel hose from the valve and confirmed that it can flow fuel?

Does your fuel valve have the Square vacuum diaphragm assembly on the back side? If so, is the small vacuum hose connected to the vacuum nipple at the top front of the carb?

Hopefully you did NOT remove the spark plug with the fuel tank still installed! Could have been LOTS of dirt around the spark plug pocket!

Yes a spark plug can spark outside of the combustion chamber. One can un-screw the plug cap from the coil wire & just hold the bare end of the wire about 1/4 - 3/8th inch from engine metal & crank the starter to check coil output vs fouled plug (Black & sooty?).

Or if one is still in doubt, one can put their finger on the end of the wire & crank the starter to confirm spark. I just did that again last Thursday on an atv while in Bright sunlight.

With the spark plug CAP unscrewed from the wire, if the ignition will spark a 1/4 inch / 6mm, a Clean spark plug will spark inside of the combustion chamber.

Maybe you need to rent or purchase a compression tester with thread fitting of 12mm x 3/4inch long for most accurate measurement?
With throttle Wide Open, crank for 10 seconds. Specs are from 77 - 124 psi with all standard systems.

You have not confirmed fuel flow out of the fuel tank & into the carb for Me!! Have you measured how much fuel is IN the float bowl? DID it Run Out of Gas, because someone turned the petcock off?

I doubt very much if the doo-hickey has anything to do with your no-start issues. The engine did Not Stop Running with terrible noises, did it? Is the engine oil Full or so far below the oil window that leaning far Right the oil still can't be seen?

Carb off is as Wide open as one can get, yes you can measure engine compression with the carb off.

Do you have access to compessed air?
One could braze or solder an air fitting to a gutted spark plug body & screw it into the plug hole. Then with regulated air pressure applied, rotate the engine towards compression stroke. Dis-connect air & turn engine to TDC. Re-connect air & listen/feel for massive air leakage.

Yes fuel flow is good i removed fuel line and turned it over it squirted fuel with each puff of the engion. I also sprayed ether into carb when it was attached and directly into intake when carb was off and it did nothing not even a try.

Oil is good. No horrible noises to report just stoped havving power and sounded like i was trying to bump start it at 50 mph.

I can would this be the same test as a compression test i plan on renting a comp tester wednesday
